3rd Floor CR, Monday Morning
The first weird thing was that Claire woke up early during her week off.
The second weird thing was that she didn't just want to hang out in her room all day. So she took her sketchbook and a set of pastels and went to the common room to curl up on a couch and draw ... she wasn't sure yet. It might just be her coffee mug. Maybe her coffee mug in spaaaaaaace.
The TV was on and tuned to some soap opera, but Claire wasn't paying enough attention to say what it was about.
[OOC: Open like a CR.]

Not that she actually got jet lag, but it worked as an all-purpose excuse.
"Hey, Ned. Good Christmas?"

There were no Russians whining about their broken legs in Fandom.

A beat. "If you wish it." She didn't know, maybe that was what you were supposed to say now.

"I do," Viki decided, wandering over to see what sort of cereal there was in the cupboard. "It would seem rather defeatist to say otherwise as of yet, don't you think? And I think there's some sort of trip going on? So it may not change."
She mused on that as she picked a cereal with more sugar than anything else in it, and poured a bowl of it. "Though, again, I would guess it is hard to tell this early."

Milk back in the fridge and then she wandered out with her bowl of cereal. "I do not even have a roommate so truly, nothing to base that on but a feeling, and the quiet around."

The machine groaned. "How many times do I have to tell you this?" it complained.
"Just one more time," dor promised as he went to find the filters. That much he remembered.
