Fourth Floor Common Room - Sunday Afternoon

Emmett had spent most of the night exploring the dorms and enjoying being able to walk around without the smell of humans being too overpowering. He was thinking about going into town but decided to pace himself when it came to exploring. If he saw everything too fast then he got bored and when he got bored he tended to make houses out of cardboard and play "General Sherman is burnin' everything" in the yard with Jasper (well, Emmett played. Jasper glared). He had the feeling burning the dorms down by accident would be frowned upon. So around 5 am he staked out a place in the common room and started to watch TV.

Now there was football on! Emmett had his ass on the couch, a football in his hand and was watching the Dolphins playing the Ravens. Then the Eagles were playing the Vikings at 4:30. God, he loved Sundays. He was tossing the football quickly between his two hands but making sure it was at a human's pace just in case anyone came in.

[Open, yes. I hope Miami wins...I think I jinxed them omg]

"If I don't set an example for them, who will." Adora replied. "Sometimes making hard choices pays off, so hopefully next time you see me I won't be afraid to shower."

"That's true," Kaylee said, tilting her head. "I mean, what if they don't follow your example, though?"

"Hmm," that was a tough call. "Then I think I'll be spending a lot of time borrowing someone else's shower."

"You can borrow mine," she offered, shrugging. "If they still ain't nice to you later. What floor're you on?"

"I'm in Room 326," Adora replied, "one floor down. I saw a community bath on this floor and it makes me curious if there is also one below." She'd be checking that out for talking showerheads for sure.

"Oh, there's one on our floor, too," Kaylee said, nodding. "I'm just down the hall in 311, if you need anything. An' I have a hedgehog."

You know, in case Adora was curious.

"Oh that will be perfect then!" Adora grinned.

"Hedgehog? Is that like a pet?" She'd only heard about dogs and cats so far.

"It's a weeeeeee bitty pet," she said, cupping her hands to approximate Popples' size. "He has pokey things all over him, so he's got natural defenses, too. His name is Popples. He's not here right now, though."

"Oh how adorable he must be with his own little defense system!" She could have squeed right then without even seeing him. "I will have to meet Popples!"
