Girlkissy party- Second floor common room, during halftime

Brooke had had the TV on while she was setting up in the common room above the Super Bowl party. Not that there was a lot of setting up to do. She figured they had that covered downstairs, so she put out extra snacks, drinks in those red solo cups (what was in them, she wasn't telling, because that would get her in trouble), and Altoids. Lots and lots of Altoids. ...And maybe a camera, just in case anything good happened.

And once they went to commercial after the first half, Brooke just had to sit back and wait for people to show up.

Dinah looks very, very nervous, but game. Yup.

Aw, cute! A nervous-looking newbie!

"I don't bite," Dōjima offered, smiling at her. "Unless, of course, you want me to."

Dinah giggled, then giggled again and finally got it under control. After kissing Angela, she was feeling better about this, but still a little anxious. "Nope nope! I don't need bruised lips. But cool, kissing you would be just fine." She beamed at Dōjima. "Everyone here is so pretty!"

"It's the Land of Pretty," Dōjima agreed merrily. "My father actually sent me away to boarding school for kissing too many people, so I can appreciate the irony."

"I'm Dōjima," she said, stepping closer and smiling. "May I have the honor of knowing who I'm going to be kissing?"

"Dinah!" She looked around for Romeo, then blushed. "I've talked to your boyfriend a couple times. He's cool." Dinah brushed her hair out of her face, and took a breath. "Kiss at will?"

She leaned forward a little, still pink but not vibrating with nerves, at least.

"Don't worry, you won't have to deal with a jealous boyfriend," Dōjima laughed, leaning in to kiss Dinah gently. "For some strange reason, he doesn't mind that I like kissing girls."

Dinah snickered, and got her breath back, and closed her eyes. "Okay. That's... good."

Dōjima's lips tasted different from Angela's, which was different from a guy's, but not bad, and she was another good kisser. Really, Dinah felt like she had to catch up here.

Dinah wasn't too shabby herself, for someone who seemed so new at this.

Dōjima made a pleased sound as she leaned into the kiss, reaching out to slide an arm around the other girl's waist and tug her closer. Quality kisses should be thoroughly enjoyed, after all.

Ohhhhh, nice. There should be another word for it, but nice! worked.

Dinah sighed and leaned in, smiling into the kiss, and pressing her lips a little harder, following Dōjima's lead. Her hand hovered, then came up to rest on Dōjima's shoulder.

"It's all right, you don't have to look scared," Jenny said. "It's just kissing."

Dinah laughed, now mostly embarrassed that she'd been embarrassed. "I'm starting to get that? I was kind of worried I'd look really stupid. I guess no one cares enough for that to happen, hunh?"

"Not really, no," Jenny said. "It's supposed to be fun. Not a big bother."

"Yay!" Dinah was feeling pretty pleased about that. No one calling anyone else a skank or a ho, and no one mocking her efforts, and it was all just fun! "I'm Dinah." She grinned. "And you're very pretty too."

"Jenny," said Jenny. "I know I am. Oh! You wanted me to compliment you, right. You're very attractive, Dinah."

Dinah laughed again, and grinned. "Thanks. Didn't expect it, but I appreciate it?" Okay, she could do this! She'd kissed two other girls, she could risk rejection. In spite of more red. "Up for more kissing?"

"I'm always up for more kissing, darling," Jenny assured her, and leaned forward.

Dinah beamed at her, loving her accent. "Okay! Yay!" She leaned in carefully, still feeling blushy, and pressed her lips to Jenny's. Cigarettes? Maybe? Different, though.

"It's okay," Rikku said with a quick smile. "You don't have to kiss anybody if you don't feel like it. That's half the fun, right?"

"Yeah," Dinah admitted. "But so far, no one's been pushy or weird about it, and they're all so nice I'm getting less nervous. I was maybe a little too worried about what people would think." Which was a constant problem for her, when it came to social stuff. Asskicking, no problem at all. She grinned, rocking on her feet. "I'm Dinah. Really new."

"Mostly," Rikku said, lowering her voice with a giggle, "the boys are thinking, 'Wow, I hope Sokka doesn't charge too much for that tape.'"

She offered a hand. "Rikku. I've been here for ages. It's awesome, you'll love it."

Dinah looked over to where Sokka stood, and facepalmed, all the lack-of-blushing coming back to full-on blush, and reached her hand out to Rikku too. "Thanks? I just... Now I'm remembering Merlin's porn, and it's...."

"Merlin's porn?" Rikku said. "I don't think I know Merlin. Do I want to know where he got porn?"

Considering there was a fair chance it was from Reno, probably not.

"Don't worry about it," she said calmly. "It's flattering, really. They think it's hot to watch girls kiss. I don't know why. I just take it as a compliment. Must mean they think we're hot."

Feeling like a traitor, Dinah explained, "Brooke got the idea because Merlin accidentally watched lesbian porn in the common room, not knowing what it was." She shook Rikku's hand, being careful, hoping for no flashes now that they were talking about porn. "And yeah? I guess? Do they ever kiss so we can, um. See the opposite?"

"Reno has a collection," she laughed. "Of girl-stuff, I mean. I think it's a guy thing. I thought it was weird at first, but it is really pretty when they kiss. And yeah, they do. Particularly when there's glitter around? Nobody knows why, it just sort of happens."

That was such a happy thought. She'd need a second, here.

Um. Yeah. So would Dinah.

Dinah took the moment to appreciate that picture too, because hi! And then she turned even more scarlet. "Um. Sure.... good to know?"
