Second floor common room, Monday lunch time
Priestly had had every intention of hiding in his room after his class today, but he didn't have any food in the room, and, well, Malcolm hadn't exactly eaten much while lost in the closet yesterday.
Holy crap, how was he ever going to live that down? He'd figured out quick enough that other students had had the same sort of experience over the weekend, but he was pretty sure he was the only one who'd ended up stupid enough not to be able to find their way out of a tiny room with only one door.
So, anyway, here he was in the common room, cooking up massive amounts of steak and cheese sandwiches for anyone who might happen to stop by. Nothing said "please don't remember me as the preppie idiot I've spent the last six months trying very hard to avoid being seen as" better than a whole lot of greasy, steaming meat and cheese.
[ooc: open! Come join the punk in "omgwtf"ery!]

Yes, she'd gotten his message. She just wasn't sure she was going to let him off the hook that easily.
"You fixed your hair."
Important things first.

"Claudia." He set down his spatula and turned around, wiping his fingers on a dish towel before taking a few steps towards her and stopping.
She looked pissed.
"I am so sorry."

The orange did keep drawing his eye, however.

"Yes?" she finally demanded.
no subject
"I... don't know? It's very orange. Um."
He looked all around the room before blushing and ducking his head.
"My apologies. I haven't seen a color like that since I was back in the City. It's, er, very nice."
It made him hungry.

He figured he'd get straight to the food since he'd had an embarrassing weekend, Priestly'd possibly had one, and not discussing it was the best option.
"It smells very good."
