Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Afternoon

After completing his go at Gun Club, Arthur returned to the dorms only to realise he didn't much feel like dealing with Leto yet. He'd come up with a proper revenge later. Right now, he craved a chance to sit somewhere, to fight off the sense that was dawning in the wake of yesterday's upset. He sat, and idly considered the Teevee.

Maybe she's just afraid to lose a friend, Merlin had said, and while Arthur was not going to stretch as far as to call her that aloud, he had to admit that the expression on her face had... seemed...

It was easier, dealing with sorcerers, when all you did was distract Father and find them quick shelter elsewhere. Here, there was little escape from them. No matter what he did, they would remain, and the honest truth was that he bore them very little ill will.

Wasn't his father. He'd seen too much damage caused by it not to be wary, but...

Of course, that made him think of Liir. He wasn't going to let thought of his conduct around him make him cringe.

So he sat. Subdued. Thinking.

"For the most part I can," Dor admitted. "However if I live a while in a room or a house it kind of takes on a life of its own. I can command items not to speak or never to speak of a certain topic so that usually helps."

"That's quite the...yeah, I think it'd be cool at first but I think I might go insane," he said and laughed. "So, props that you haven't."

"I don't need any props," Dor said holding up his hands. "I have enough objects around me as it is. And like I said I've grown up with this ability so I'm pretty used to it. Plus sometimes it can have a lot of benefits too. I was able to learn how to use a microwave and turn on the tv without someone helping me."

Yes. He's proud of turning on the TV.

"No, not actual prop-- never mind," Hannibal said, shaking his head. "And yeah, I guess it could be helpful. What's the strangest thing you've ever heard?"

"Well there was the time when a harness on a centaur told me about an impotency spell his mate had cast on him," Dor said trying to think.

"What about me!" the sofa called out. "I told you about the-"

"Shut up. We've already heard about that," Dor snapped and the sofa groaned in disappointment.

"Why would someone cast an impotency spell on someone their with?" Hannibal asked. "That sounds counterproductive."

"Well you did say the strangest thing," Dor said with a shrug. "The centaur mentioned something about her being a tease. I really didn't understand the whole thing either."

"Wow," Hannibal said and laughed. "Hope I don't ever have a partner that thinks of me like that."

"Well, I guess that's one way from keeping your mate from straying," Dor said with a chuckle. "Though it seems a little extreme."
