Wednesday After Classes, The Gym -- Cheerleading Practice

Savannah was a little more somber than usual as she got to the Gym and set up for practice. She pulled out the mats and made sure they were perfectly aligned. After doing that, she set up a table for the refreshments and then a table with the sign in sheet and the music.

The gym was alive with the sounds of techno as Savannah started stretching out.

"Yeah, when dad's around. It's just been him and me since my mom died. He works for a dredging company so he's gone for a few months at a time," she explained. "Part of the reason I came here. It just gets so lonely being all alone in the house and the whole Ellie thing really shook me up."

She smiled. "Yeah. Even have two people from home - well, one now. They aren't exactly from the same timeline or whatever, but they were my best friends back home and we all kind of decided we were close enough to just, you know, act like we were all the same."
