After making an appearance in class, Angela was in need of something to cleanse her mind of the zombie movie clips. With everything going on, watching all that just made her feel a little ill.

That was why the television was tuned firmly to Nickelodeon, for something silly and distracting.

She was clutching a mug of hot chocolate, and had that hockey stick she'd picked up lying across her lap. Better safe than... something else.

"It was implied," Chuck said, smiling.

"Ah, no, you just assumed," she corrected. "And they say you really shouldn't do that."

"Who is this mysterious 'they' you are referring to?" he asked.

"It's a reference to a spelling rhyme," she admitted. "But I'm sure there's people around who share the opinion."

Chuck smirked. "Well in that case I definitely won't assume anymore."

"I am such a great influence," Angela decided.

See? She does have a bit of an ego herself.

"You're an influence," Chuck agreed. "Whether it's a good one or a bad one is up for debate."

"Better than you," she amended.

"It's not that hard to be a better influence than me," he said, grinning.

"At least let me pretend it's an accomplishment," Angela said.

Chuck shook his head. "Nuh-uh. I'm afraid I can't give you that one."

"Aw, why not, Chuck?" she asked.

"It's too easy," Chuck said. "Come on, everybody has straighter moral compass than I do."

"I'm sorry to break this to you, but I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who outstrip you in the evil stakes," Angela said.

"Can you name one?" he asked.

"That I know personally?" Angela asked. "No. But that's because I don't hang out with creeps like that."

"But you hang out with me," Chuck said thoughtfully. "That makes me feel special."

"Unlike some people, I don't actually think you're evil," she said.

"Oooh, did someone tell you that I was evil?" Chuck asked, sitting up. "Who did I piss off? I bet I could guess."

"I thought you said you pissed off a lot of people lately?" Angela said.

"I have. I actually managed to piss off more people since our little picnic," Chuck said. "...I'm beginning to think it's a spring thing."

He was just wondering if people were making formal complaints to his friends.

"Wouldn't more people be pissing other people off then?" he asked. Well. Pleading water insanity would explain the thing with Dean, actually.
