5th Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

There was some insanity going on in Fandom this week, and after John and Gavin had been assaulted by their visitor, they'd parted. And gotten a change of wardrobe.

After leaving her in...Gavin's dorm room, Johnny realized had to find Baby, he'd made a mistake leaving Kellerman's like that. He stormed into the...common room to find her sitting in the corner, watching the show.

In reality, there was no show. It was just Gavin in a really frilly dress staring at the television and looking disheartened.

Clad in tight black pants and popped-collar shirt, Johnny stormed over to where Baby sat, announcing to the world that, "Nobody puts Baby in the corner!" Then he offered her his hand.

Tomorrow would be painful.

[This is all [livejournal.com profile] sith_happened's fault. Minimal OCD coming for the dance ready!]

Oh, she was ready. She was ready to fly. She was ready to be a bird in the sky, feeling Johnny's hands holding her strong. He would never let her fall. He would never drop her.

Their friends rushed forward, taking her hands and helping her down. She landed daintily on her feet, not able to control her immense grin. This was their big finish. This was going to be the moment they showed everyone that dreams really could come true.

Metaphorically. Because the lift was a metaphor for life and Johnny was the earth and Baby was a bird and...look, it made sense somewhere.

The audience wasn't going to get any warning about this. Their retinas might be permanently damaged.

And that's when Baby started running towards Johnny, leaping off of her feet and into Johnny's waiting hands, ready to be lifted to the sky.

To fly!

To soar!

Baby crashed down on top of Johnny, her knee narrowly missing some very important areas. She was panting and sweating but she was grinning. They'd done it, they'd done the lift.

Even if they hadn't.

They'd danced their last danced and, if anyone asked, Baby would tell them that she'd had the time of her life. She clutched Johnny to her bosom, letting their friends dance around them and wondered how her life had gotten so good.

To recap: Gavin was now clutching John to his chest. Yeeeeeeep.

He was singing to her and only to her. Everyone else in the room ceased to exist but them. It was as if they were alone in a big empty room, surrounded by candles and nothing to keep them warm but their love.

...and the fire from the candles.

Baby ran her hands through the luxurious brown locks of his semi mullet. She loved the feel of its softness over her fingers. She was addicted to him, to all of him and she wanted to physically show him how much she was into him.

She leaned up closer, wanting to kiss him, needing to kiss him. It would be the cherry on top, the icing on the cake, the perfect ending to a perfect dance.

And so Baby kissed Johnny. Right there, on the common table.

Yep.

Baby let her body slink against Johnny's, letting him feel every line of muscle and skin. He deserved it. He deserved everything. Baby found herself mesmerized by the love she saw in Johnny's bottomless orbs, found herself falling in love with him again and again.

She was so far gone.

As the party raged on around them, Baby just wanted to rock with Johnny. She could feel his heart beating under hand and feel his muscles tense under his shirt.

It was just them.

On the common room table.
