KKG Meeting:The Pool

John had scrubbed for what seemed like hours this morning and yet he still felt unclean after last night's...thing with Gavin.

Also, his back was freaking killing him. That bastard was heavy as hell!

So the KKG had been given notice that they were meeting in the pool today where there could be relaxing and stretching. No snacks, but there were plenty of rafts, floaties, and noodles to play with. Not dirty. Ew.

"Right. Are you a fan of lounging on rocks and letting your hair flow?" Because John was convinced mermaids were girls, yes. Especially with the shell bras.

frowned and stroked the beard that Ben didn't have. "My hair is not that long," he said, "but rocks are very nice to sun oneself on."

John couldn't figure why he was rubbing his chin like that. Weird. "You got an itch or something?" He mimicked Ben's rubbing.

"Boyfriend," John repeated. "Now that's a guy I'd like to meet. He a mermaid, too? You guys live under the sea together?" Yes, John was now looking around the pool for some idiot dressed like Ben's lifemate.

Oh Ben, no. No no no no no. He had a date with Jaina later. This could not be good.

John coughed, turning back. "No, thank God. I mean, unfortunately. He's such a great guy and all."

Oh that smile made John a little nauseous. He was trying really hard not to think about Ben and Ben's grandfather doing anything dirty.

It was really difficult.

"Right. Mermaid. I'd ask more, but I'd hate to pry." Or encourage oversharing.
