The Deck [Friday Morning Before Classes]

Currently, there were three girls, one boy, and a dog on the deck at The Charles Townsend Agency. Of the group, the dog was the only one in their right mind.

Sabrina, Jill and Kelly had all jogged, slowly and braless, down to the Agency, being joined shortly thereafter by Bosley. Lounging in chairs, the angels waited for Charlie to contact them, or for someone who needed their help.

[Open! And they've all fled.]

"I'd say good morning," Bosley said, adjusting a tie that wasn't there, "but I'd hate to steal Charlie's thunder. If the thunder ever rolls in," he added quickly, checking his non-existent watch again. "We're a little behind schedule, but nothing we can't get back on track."

Jill smiled and flicked her hair. "I'm sure Charlie wouldn't keep us waiting without a good reason," she said, flicking her hair again.

"That's what I'm worried about," Bosley replied. He stood up and adjusted his jacket, even though he wasn't wearing a jacket. "Angels, you'd better prepare yourselves. This mission is going to get personal."

Sabrina looked up from patting Jet with a concerned expression. "You mean like that time when we went undercover in a women's prison?"

"Or when I accidentally got shot in the head by the boy I was caring for?" Kelly asked.

"Or when I fell for the French Resistance assassin we were investigating?"

"No, no and no," was what Bos said, but he was thinking 'hot', 'ow' and 'I hated that guy' instead. "I'll let Charlie do all the talking, but I can tell you this - it's going to put all of our skills to the test. It's going to take courage and possibly very revealing clothing. Maybe some high heels. You'll all have to wear disguises too, of course."

"What kind of disguises?" Sabrina asked, thinking of all the times Kelly and Jill ended up in bikinis.

"I don't want to give too much away," Bosley insisted, fiddling with his collar. He wasn't wearing a collar. "I give too much away, Charlie has no reason to call, and we all want to hear Charlie's voice, am I right?"

"We all love hearing Charlie's voice." Kelly didn't particularly mind the bikinis, after all it beat getting shot in the head, accidentally or on purpose. "He took us away from our terribly hazardous duties with the police."

All those deadly paper-cuts and coffee burns.

"I know, Kelly. Charlie saved us all. A day not hearing Charlie's voice is like a day without sunshine. You understand now why I can't give away all the finer details of what Charlie wants us to do today. There'd be no sunshine."

"And without sunshine the trees and grass can't grow," Jill flicked her hair. "So there'd be none of those either." Flick.

"And without trees and grass, we'd have no air, and the world would die," Bosley concluded. "So you see, we all need Charlie."

Sabrina tilted her head to one side. "I know that Charlie saved us from the sexual chauvinism inherent in the police force," she said. "But what did he save you from?"

"Ah, you don't want to hear about that," Bosley said, waving her off. "All that needs to be said is that he brought you three into my life and that's all that matters. What do you say we play a little game? If you guess the mission, I can nod or shake my head. That way, Charlie still gets to tell us the details, but you're a little closer to knowing what's going on. What do you say?"

"Oh, oh," Jill bounced excitedly, showing off her lack of bra once more. "Am I pretending to be a consumptive French prostitute?"

Bosley paused and thought about it. He didn't nod, nor shake his head, but instead gave a 'eh, sort of' jiggle of his hand.

"We're going to be undercover as members of a burlesque act in the style of the Moulin Rouge?" Kelly guessed.

"No, but remind me to suggest that to Charlie," Bosley said.

Sabrina thought about it. "We're working in conjunction with a specialised unit of younger cops whose youthful appearances enable them to go undercover in highschools?"

Bosley shook his head again. "I think that's a little before its time. Give it ten years."

"We're investigating the use of bionic implants by the US government to create secret operatives?"

"Charlie's still trying to get the government contract for that one."

"A government agent has only twenty-four hours to stop a terrorist attack on US soil. We have to help him?"
