The Deck [Friday Morning Before Classes]

Currently, there were three girls, one boy, and a dog on the deck at The Charles Townsend Agency. Of the group, the dog was the only one in their right mind.

Sabrina, Jill and Kelly had all jogged, slowly and braless, down to the Agency, being joined shortly thereafter by Bosley. Lounging in chairs, the angels waited for Charlie to contact them, or for someone who needed their help.

[Open! And they've all fled.]

"No, but remind me to suggest that to Charlie," Bosley said.

Sabrina thought about it. "We're working in conjunction with a specialised unit of younger cops whose youthful appearances enable them to go undercover in highschools?"

Bosley shook his head again. "I think that's a little before its time. Give it ten years."

"We're investigating the use of bionic implants by the US government to create secret operatives?"

"Charlie's still trying to get the government contract for that one."

"A government agent has only twenty-four hours to stop a terrorist attack on US soil. We have to help him?"

"I'd really hope not with Charlie running a little late today and all, but if you're interested, I can always ask around."

Kelly considered it for a moment. "So long as he doesn't have a daughter that keeps getting threatened in increasingly outlandish ways."

"I'm sure a consummate professional wouldn't let his personal life affect his work like that," Bosley assured her confidently.

"We have to protect the chosen one until he can grow up and defeat a dark wizard?"

"I think we're getting a little off track here, Angels," Bosley frowned. "If any of our missions start to involve wizards, I think one of you is going to have to suit up, get on a motorcycle and jump it over a shark."

"That actually sounds like fun," Jill said with a thoughtful hair-flick. "Depending on the kind of shark."

"It'd depend on what kind of insurance we could get. Death-defying stunts are all well and good in this line of work, but you bring animals into it, and the premium skyrockets. We might have to settle for ill-tempered mutated sea bass."

"What about sea bass with lasers attached to their heads?" Jill asked, flicking her hair once more. "I hear you can get a good deal on those."

"I'll look into it. For now though, no wizards. Not even a magician if we can help it."

Kelly deflated slightly and put her idea about destroying a magic ring to one side. "What about werewolves?"

"How did we get from prostitutes to werewolves? Prostitutes were closer."

"It feels like we should have passed vampires on the way," Sabrina said with a frown.

"I like vampires," Jill added. "Especially the ones that sparkle in the sunlight."

"Vampires are closer. Definitely closer. I'm not too sure about the sparkling. The sparkling seems a little strange."

"I thought vampires were supposed to turn to ash in the sun, not sparkle."

Kelly was quite confused.

"Ash...sparkles." Bosley had no idea. "I'm not really an expert on things that aren't supposed to exist."

Jet, who had been behaving very well, made a noise. Bosley perked up. "Ah, there he is!" He didn't seem to be looking at the dog, but he noticed the noise. "Charlie!"

Jet barked.

Jill had been about to suggest that Charlie was in fact a brooding vampire, looking to make good for his centuries of misdeeds, when Jet's barking distracted her.

She, and the rest of the Angels leaned forwards, not paying any particular attention to Jet. "Good morning, Charlie," they chorused.

Jet just looked confused.

"I didn't tell them anything, Charlie," Bosley assured, not looking at Jet at all. In fact, he was looking at a table nearby as if a voice was coming out of an invisible box there. "But the Angels are dying to know what their assignment is."

Sabrina nodded, also looking in the box's direction. "Please don't keep us waiting Charlie," she said.

Jet yipped and whined, trying to get their attention.
