The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

Anyone welcome, even if you don't know her! I'm sticking to Dinah's thread to keep it simple.]

She was adorable. Her laughing and hand covering face thing. He didn't get it, but it was adorable. "Ah, but thank you. I should learn about such things that will help me learn... about such things." Um. "It is certainly okay to say that. I should not like to leave yet, I do not think. And Giselle, wherever she is, I wish her well." He frowned. "I do hope she is not still betrothed to me. Would make things terribly awkward."

"Yeaaah, you should." She and Priestly were falling down on the job! "And anyway, I think she'd understand? I hope so, anyway. Four months is a long time with no word from each other." Dinah gave him a sympathetic look, then smiled. "'Cause of Adora, hunh?"

"You are right." Four months? He's been here four months!? Perhaps he should pay better attention to the time. Why it seemed just yesterday he was getting married in the morning!

"I have moved on," he declared brightly. "Yes, my dear Dinah. Adora has agreed to be my girlfriend!"

"Yay!" Whatever tiny tinge of regret for not trying to go after him that she had, was drowned in vicarious romantic glee. "She's so nice! And that is awesome! Have some more cake to celebrate!"
