The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

Anyone welcome, even if you don't know her! I'm sticking to Dinah's thread to keep it simple.]

"Oh, maaaan," Dinah laughed, then looked a little guilty for it. "I'm glad you guys got that all straightened out. I was mainly laughing 'cause I got to witness Jen trying to hijack Katina, and Francine putting a stop to it. It was pretty hilarious." She grinned. "If I got married, it would be epically bad. Wow. Although not legal, since today's the 17th birthday and all."

"I didn't react well," he said and shrugged. "I reacted...really badly. To Angela's marriage, not to Katina's. So, that was my fault and my job to straighten out."

"Glad you did, then. I really like Angela, she's been so cool to me while I've been here." She grinned. "And we survived! Harpies and zombies and little kids, oh my!"

"Yup! Just saw my family yesterday. I might go back a couple weekends, or a week or something, but I talked them into letting me stay. So I'm set." She grinned at him. "How long have you been here? And was anything worse than those freaky zombies?"

"I got here last summer," Hannibal said. "So, I'm about to hit a year or so. And nope, the zombies have been the worst I've seen. Most of what I've seen is the weird non harmful stuff. Changing into a girl, changing into a child, seeing it rain chocolate, stuff like that."

"Cool!" Dinah grinned in satisfaction. "Then I totally feel okay about staying and signing up to be someone's Big Sister. If the zombies were the worst, well-- they were pretty terrible, but we got through it. And next time we'll be better organized and all."
