The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

"Awesome. I'll hide in my room and refuse to come out until I've guilted my sisters into getting me chocolate and booze enough to help my recovery," Dinah said. "You're nineteen? Hunh. Is it good or bad that I thought you were eighteen?"

"Yeah, my birthday was last month," Claire said. "SFU writers can't do math, or else I got held back from starting kindergarten. I failed following directions." She smiled. "It's good to look younger, right?"

"Especially if it holds on and keeps getting more so," Dinah speculated. "If you look twenty-five when you're thirty, and thirty when you're forty. That would be cool. Does your mom look younger than she is?" She grinned. "Happy late birthday then. My cake is your cake."
