The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

Anyone welcome, even if you don't know her! I'm sticking to Dinah's thread to keep it simple.]

Francine reached out to tap her on the shoulder. With a package. "I know you said no presents, but that's dumb so I ignored you."

Dinah rolled her eyes, made a face, then looked gleeful, all in the space of 2.1 seconds. "Dude! Yay! Thank you!" She ripped it open, then squealed. "Ohmigod!"

"That's the issues where she spends most of her time carrying really big guns for some reason," Francine said with a confused shrug.

Dinah frowned, thinking. "Maybe the same reasons some guys like the pictures of her handcuffing bad guys? Although honestly, that's not that sexy. Sheesh."

Francine shook her head. "If I understood what guys find sexy I'd--" Not get into conversations with Chuck Bass while under the influence of oregano. "I don't know. I'd write a book and sell it for a million dollars!"

"Exactly. I mean, I sure didn't want to have sex with any of the guys I handcuffed," Dinah said, keeping her voice down. Then she looked speculative. "People have written books. You know. Manuals."

HMMMMMMMMMM.

No. No reason for Dinah to be thinking about that now, really. Still, sometime in the future, maybe...?

"They have those too," Dinah said absently and very-not-dirtily. "Except. You know. I mean." She turned bright red. "Maybe I could order one on-line...?"

Yeah, that would turn out well.

Francine was torn between turning purple and whispering, after looking around for spies of the human or bush-tailed variety, "If you did would you share?" So she went with both options.
