The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

Anyone welcome, even if you don't know her! I'm sticking to Dinah's thread to keep it simple.]

"It's not like it'd do any good for Movies," Dinah pointed out, making a face that turned to wonder when she saw her present. "Oooooooo. Guys, this is awesome! Thank you! It's beautiful," she said, holding it carefully and sighting down the blade. "Wow."

"Handle is trees, and deer antler," Firekeeper explained. "The one who sell it to me also try and say about what kind metal it is, but," she shrugged. "I not know much about such things. Only that balance is good and blade edge sharp."

"It is, thank you! I love it." Dinah beamed at both of them, and said, "Cool, now I've got my own weapon the next time something attacks. I won't have to borrow one. And for doing stuff in the woods, too." She bounced a second. "Awesome birthday so far!"
