The Deck, early evening Thursday

Dinah had hamburgers and hot dogs, some veggie platters and chips and dip, soft drinks and cake. Oh, and ice cream in the fridge inside for later.

Happy birthday, Will Shakespeare! Oh, and her too.

[very limited OCD about to go up!, for early justice and time zones; set before Dress Rehearsal/Previews.

Anyone welcome, even if you don't know her! I'm sticking to Dinah's thread to keep it simple.]

"Phys Ed! With Mr Dex. I forgot you were in his movies class! At least you don't have the possibility of shearing sheep as a part of your final." She gave a small laugh. "And, wow. I didn't know you were in the play! You ready for it? Is it going to be a comedy again this time?"
heromaniac: (Lame!)

Momoko made a face. "Actually, that sounds like the plot of the worst movie ever. How did there get to be four sequels? Does it maybe have a really good hero in it, or a super cute romance?"
heromaniac: (yay 1)

"You're the star? Yay! Congratulations! Wow! And you get to kiss a guy? Oooh!" Momoko beamed at her and leaned in a bit. "Who is it? Is he cute? That's got to be weird to do!"

"Like, older older, huh? That's too bad! But at least he's cute?" Momoko pouted playfully, then perked up a bit. "And! That makes it sound like it could be really good! In the middle of all the politics and violence, a battered Harry somehow manages to find his one true love and proposes to her with a loving kiss! That is a play worthy of sequels!"

[I go to bed now, sorry ]

"After first period tomorrow, I'll have plenty of time to come watch you propose and kiss a cute guy in front of tons of people!" Momoko teased. "So many students are in the play? It's not a class requirement or anything right?" Sometimes schools did that, right? Made you volunteer or do intern work or stuff before you could graduate?

"Sunday? Got it! And the best parts always come at the end; plus that means now I know your character doesn't die in the middle. That really sucks when it happens to someone you like." Momoko looked puzzled for a moment. "So you want to be an actor when you graduate, then? That's pretty cool, and I'll be able to tell people I went to school with you!"
heromaniac: (score!)

"A fellow Heroine of Justice!" Momoko would have clapped her approval, but for the cake she was still holding. "Yay! There should always be more of us! I never thought about trying acting to help with undercover work." Not that being a superhero had much undercover work to it, besides the whole secret identity thing. "Good call!"
