Franklin Delano Roosevelt Campfire, Monday Evening

There was a proper firepit! Of course this meant Merlin was outdoors, getting the fire going. Yes, even doing it the normal way.

Because he was simply far too excited for things that made sense again! If only a little bit.

Not that he wasn't fond of indoor plumbing, of course...

"Come on then," Merlin grumbled, blowing on the tiny, tiny embers he'd somehow--against all odds--had encouraged to spark to life.

"Good timing, then," Turtle complimented. "I'm Turtle, by the way. No, not my real name. Just a nickname. Still better than the real one."

"No, Skuttlefish," Turtle rolled her eyes a little, but she smirked as she did it, and was so not saying the real one.

"Mmm. Hippie parents. My apologies," she deadpanned. "Forgive my manners. Being tossed directly into the frying pan of classes with a plethora of strangers has taken its toll."

She extended her hand with a smile. "Frost. Emma Frost. Charmed."
