LBJ Campfire, Monday Evening
Chuck didn't know who started the campfire outside his cabin but he was glad that someone did. He was capable of working a lighter but that whole Boy Scout-y wood and newspaper in the optimal fire starting position thing was lost on him. So when people did the hard stuff for him he was appreciative. Silently appreciative. He wasn't about to be thanking people out loud.
Now he was sitting back against a log with a joint in his hand and was debating going back inside the cabin to grab marshmallows. Maybe after the munchies set in.

"I'm having the time of my life," she said, still a little amazed.
She'd gone on the vacation of quite a few dreams a few weeks before, with Robert as well and only her Uncle Aaron as a chaperone, but even that wasn't the same as this. This was...
There were so many people. And some of them even liked her.
"I bet that sounds really stupid to a jaded regular around here, huh?"

"Then again, no one is trying to kill me, so this is a real step up. Not to mention the presence of boys who aren't my brother."
Which was possibly even better than the lack of Infernal doom.

"It wasn't. But that's how my Grandmother made it. Things changed recently, though, so... here I am. My brother got sent to another school."

"And I'm worried about him. He's a little younger than me," yes, by a whole five minutes "and he's kind of... he's sweet. And he tends to trust people easily."
Not as much since he'd become the 'new' Eliot, but still. He was her little brother, the one she beat on the race down the stairs every morning. She'd still been able to bully him into giving her the laptop when she'd gone away to school.
"And no one here is good for vocabulary insult. But it's kind of nice, in a way."

"Is that what I think it is?"

"You're not just teasing, are you?"

"I've never done this, so tell me how so I don't look like an idiot?"
Wait.
"Please?"

This was the second time today he was teaching someone to smoke. He was so proud.

She blew it out smoothly and smiled at him a little.

And if he picked up any innuendo in that, it wasn't any she'd put there. Fiona wasn't quite up to innuendo yet.
"Do it again?"

"Why is it that you do something like this out where everyone can see? It is illegal, as far as I know."

She took another hit.
