Karla was nervous. Well, that wasn't much of a surprise. Karla had been nervous all day. But this was a new and different kind of nervous. Now, she was about to host a party, which she had never done, in a world that was still foreign to her, and for many girls she did not know very well. It was enough to unsettle even the strongest nerves.

Still, she though she was ready. Dinah had promised to provide her laptop for movies. Karla and Gabrielle had gone to Turtle's and purchased lots of ~~moddable~~ snacks, sodas, and lots of candy and chocolates. She'd bought make-up, since Dinah had mentioned it's importance in such matters, plenty of blankets and pillows to share, and several other sundries because she wasn't entirely certain what else would be needed, and wished to be prepared. Also, lots of booze, from her private Kaeleeran stash.

Most importantly, there was a small, neatly lettered sign on the door that said 'No Males Please.'

Well, she was as ready as she was ever going to be. "Kiss kiss," she muttered.

She raised an eyebrow. "It's funny how I can see you starting it," she commented.

Leda made an offended sound, though she was grinning mishcievously.

For all that doing Craft hurt like a bitch, Karla couldn't resist. Which was why there was a pillow flying through the air at the back of Leda's head, while Karla tried to look innocent.

"Ack!" Leda yelped, completely blindsided by the pillow. "Oh my God I'm gonna get you!" She tried to grab the pillow for a retaliatory strike. "And see? I didn't start it!"

Karla yanked on the pillow, pulling it through the air and into her hands. "But accusing you of doing so made a nice distraction, didn't it?"

She let it fly at Leda again, this time without the benefit of Craft.

"Oh you sneaky little minx." Leda laughed, catching the pillow. She swung a feint at Karla's head, intending to go for a hip blow.

Karla totally fell for the feint, bringing her arms up to protect her head.

Then huffed in surprise when the pillow whacked her in the hip. "Bitch!" she exclaimed, giggling.

"In the best possible way." Leda agreed.

"I should hope so!" Karla said, still giggling.

"Is this your first pillow fight?"

Karla made a face. "Is it really that obvious?"

"Yes. But it's my first too."
