Fifth floor common room, Saturday evening

After detention there had been some time to check messages and figure out if there was anything she needed to catch up on after spending her morning cleaning up alligator parts, and then she'd gone for the second shower. Her priorities were a bit skewed, but 'ew' was 'ew'.

Since she had some time on her hands, she settled into the common room of her apparently adopted floor with popcorn and her comlink on the table in front of her, flipping through channels and being really glad that Scifi's monster movies tonight had nothing to do with lizards.

He dug his hand in the bowl and shoved a large amount in his mouth. "Dad bwe a 'ood idee," he told her.

"But I should. If I want to last." Two years in, this definitely amused her.

"Don't say that, he'd keep me single into my hundreds," she said.

John laughed, "Maybe that's why I like the idea."

Jaina smiled and noted, "If you're going to want me single that long, it should be for reasons like I've been ruined for all other men."

That should not make him smile. Even if he thought it was true. "Ruined sounds like a used bed sheet."

"Well, it's us." And the a second later she remembered this was a common room and she maybe shouldn't say that here.
