Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon
Tony put the DVD for the Roman Polanski version of The Scottish Play into the player and went to make popcorn while the FBI warning came up on the screen. He plopped down on the couch with his popcorn and pop and waited for a few people to arrive before starting the movie itself.

At least, he figured that maybe it was something along those lines.

He shrugged.
"I don't think any of them are really natural, but they've been around for a long time before I ever was, so they're kind of just... normal. Not having met any before Fandom isn't really a bad thing, though."

This really wasn't surprising, was it?
"I got to fight so many of those things! It was like being at home, except there were more people fighting alongside me than I'm really used to."

"Fighting together is very human thing," Firekeeper commented. "Wolves is usually hunting together, but fighting alone."

She spoke like she was one of them. Every now and then, Zack made an almost logical kind of assumption, that way. What people looked like and what they really happened to be were often two entirely different things, sometimes.

Zack grinned right back, thrilled that he'd assumed right. After all, either she identified as a wolf, or she was a really weird girl who was kind of obsessed. He was the type who preferred to go with the more flattering option when talking to people.
"Neat! I can't say I've ever spoken to a wolf before," he replied. "What brings you and Blind Seer to Fandom?"

"We was hunting in forests on Misheemnekuru, then, forest change, and we is here. And told we is to be going to school."

He rocked on his heels for a moment, and then smiled apologetically at the both of them. "I can't even imagine how different things here must be for you both."

"He understands me, too?" Oh, he wasn't going to easily get his head around how neat this conversation was. Ever. "I think I can see the appeal of running in a pack. I mean, most missions I do as a SOLDIER, I do alone... But there's a sort of strength in numbers too."

Since he knew now that both of the wolves in front of him understood what he was saying, he was carrying on the conversation between the two of them equally, as opposed to just speaking to Blysse.

Blind Seer definitely appreciated the inclusion; not everyone actually remembered to do that.
