Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon

Tony put the DVD for the Roman Polanski version of The Scottish Play into the player and went to make popcorn while the FBI warning came up on the screen. He plopped down on the couch with his popcorn and pop and waited for a few people to arrive before starting the movie itself.

"Hi Jill!" said Harper, waving back enthusiastically. "Hey, what happened to that geranium that was on your desk? I watered it a few times because it was starting to look a bit dry, and then one day I came back from class and it was gone."

"...geranium?" Jill asked, looking confused. "Not really sure what you're talking about. I had some daisies on my desk, but they were in a plastic cup. Do you mean those?"

"I thought it was a geranium. Hmm, maybe I was wrong. I'm not really familiar with plants," Harper said with a shrug. "Or maybe I imagined it. My grandmother always said I had an active imagination." And that was before Harper had her imaginary relationship with Justin Russo.

Jill shrugged. "Geranium, daisies, they all look pretty similar to me, too. Hey, did you see a guy in our room last weekend?"

"A guy? No," said Harper. "And I pretty much stayed in all weekend until I was certain that the alligators were gone."

"I think that was smart," Jill agreed. "I hid from the alligators, too. Um, listen, there's something I need to talk to you sometime that's not...so public. Okay?"

Harper nodded. "Away from all the squirrels and stuff?" she asked.

"I'm not so worried about the squirrels." She barely could convince herself to believe in the squirrels. "Just, like, sometime when we're both in the room?"

"No problem," said Harper, making a mental note to hang out in the room a bit more often instead of stalking walking past Eric's room so often.
