Tony put the DVD for the Roman Polanski version of The Scottish Play into the player and went to make popcorn while the FBI warning came up on the screen. He plopped down on the couch with his popcorn and pop and waited for a few people to arrive before starting the movie itself.

"Uh-hunh," Dinah said immediately, smiling back. Not too fake, then admitted enough for, "Headache for a second there. Maybe the spices just got to me." She leaned against the counter, and snuck a pepper out of the stir-fry. "This is fun." And it was.

The little flash, though, was enough to remind her why no matter what her body wanted, doing anything else was not on the agenda any time soon. She didn't know George nearly well enough for that. She'd been lucky this week, that she hadn't gotten any horrible or awful memories off lust-crazy people. Simon's little flash had actually been nice, but it had still been mortifying and startling at the time.

"It is," George agreed, grinning. "Aaaand.... I think this is done. The noodles?"

"Noodles!" Dinah grabbed the pot and poured them into the colander in the sink, then came over to dump them in the stir-fry, leaning close again for a second. But very very careful not to touch.
