2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
Karla was feeling Crafty today--though, admittedly, this was not exactly news. Karla was often in that kind of mood, regardless of whether the 'C' was capitalized or not. After the Magical Reserves meeting today, she'd decided it was a good day to stock up on some items for the Support Reserves. Magical potions unfortunately lost efficacy after a few hours, but a few simple Healing webs could be activated without her being around with only a few drops of blood, and could heal most minor to middling injuries. Calming potions would be useful in an emergency, as would sleeping draughts. Which reminded her that a few energy powders might be wise, too. Cooling or warming unguents, too, depending on when they'd be fighting. Plus the everyday, non-magical potions for things like bee-stings, sunburn (Karla, being very fair-skinned, made a lot of that), chafes, various aches and pains...
There were also some potions brewing that were for her own use, or to be shared with others, like her moon-time tea and the contraceptive brew, since it seemed like something to have handy for people.
And since she'd promised magical help to several people over the past few days, the common room seemed an easy enough place to find her. Plus, it had more counterspace, a sink, and a stove she was going to avoid until someone came in and taught her to use it properly. A few tongues of witchfire were enough to heat anything, anyway.
Anyone coming in would see Karla singing softly to herself, as she consulted a few large, leather bound books, fiddling around with various pots filled with herbal-scented liquids, or weaving webs in small, wooden looms.
[Common room is open! SP warning for me this evening.]

He's been in the Shakespeare plays where everyone dies.

Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
He wondered what her thoughts would be about monster truck rallys.
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
She would probably light the entire stadium on fire.
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
Jack would so be there. He would gladly pay $10 for the whole seat, knowing he would only need the edge.

The term would probably be better known as a House of Ill Repute.

Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
"So they have those in your world?"
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
Clearly, someone had never heard Karla swear.
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
Karla? Swear? That might break poor Jack's wee brain.
[are you interested in Fight Club?]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
[YES!]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
Someone holding a torch over Sex Pollen flirtatiousness? Possibly.
[DOO EEEEET! (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomtownies/4045540.html#comments) Handwave an invite from Jack if you want.]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
She spun around to flounce away, but rethought that after a moment. "That had better not be your answer!" Her anger was tipping rapidly into amusement.
[You mean like this? Also, I giggled like an idiot after writing "whores whores whores!"]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
"Wait, wha?" He was confused. Was she thinking he was calling her a whore?
[TOTALLY DIDN'T CATCH THAT. And I was looking for it, too! ...I now randomly want to shout "Whores whores whores!" at someone. I better hide my phone...]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
[DOOOOO EEEEEET. For the funny doooo eeeeet.]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
...if she's not careful, this may be her new catchphrase.
[They're all sleeping, else I would. It wouldn't be the worst thing I've ever randomdialed someone. :D]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
"Are you comfortable saying that in front of me now? Because, if you like, I can show you how extensive my vocabulary really is."
Likeher canon's fondness for the word 'cock.'
[Text messages!]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
"Bring it," he said, challenging her. He was sure he could take it.
[THEY WOULD KILL ME FOR WAKING THEM UP TO "WHOOOOOOORES! WHORES WHORES ALE AND WHORES!" MESSAGES. It would be epic, though.]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
It has been brought.
[Embrace the epic!]
Re: 2nd Floor Common Room, Wednesday Afternoon
"Did you just say cock and prick?"
Oh, sad. Jack's righteous indignation turned into snickers.
[ahahaha]
