Main Campfire; Tuesday Evening [ 07/07 ].

Turtle was thinking about going out to do her campfire jumping to meet new people and catch up with old people alive, but decided she'd take the hopping a little further and just go and get a good one going at the main campfire. She even took a trip down to the store so she had plenty of materials for s'mores, hot dogs, and there was even a cooler full of pop.

If you asked Turtle, that was all you really needed for a good campfire.

*smack*

Well, maybe some bug spray. That one was a big one. She wrinkled her nose and scratched the skeeter bite before poking at the fire a little more and setting up its christening s'more.

"Swear to God I would have warned you about the crazy pajama man if I'd known," Rose said by way of greeting.

"Well, that's reassuring," Elle said, making a face at Rose before grinning.

She grinned back, shaking her head. "Not all classes are as crazy, I swear," Rose said. "And at least it's probably not going to include flower arranging or crap like that?"

"Flower arranging would be... possibly the most boring thing ever," Elle said, wrinkling her nose. "Well, okay, maybe there'd be something more boring, but I don't wanna think about it."

"Setting tables," Rose said quickly. "And different spoons."

"... different spoons?"

Rose had no idea why she knew this. "Really fancy people use different spoons depending on what they're eating. It's stupid."

"Wait, is this that whole soup spoon or regular spoon thing?" Elle wrinkled her nose. "That is stupid."

"An' dessert spoons and salad forks and shrimp forks and yeah," Rose said, making a face. "Hopefully crazy teacher won't get into that."

"Somehow I don't think crazy teacher's gonna be much for that unless it involves teaching us how to stab people with them."

Rose grinned sharply. "That? Would be excellent. I'm totally okay with it."

"Is it wrong that I want to ask him about it now?"

"Nope," Rose said quickly. "Just don't tell him that Canada is America's hat."

Rose grinned. "I dunno. Why would you ask him about stabbing people with a shrimp fork?" she teased.

"Because it's an easier conversation starter than asking how to gouge out someone's eye with a soup spoon."

"I mean, the shrimp fork thing could be explained as self-defense or warding off unwanted advances, but the eye gouge-y thing? Little trickier."

"Sure, but the man wears blood red pajamas," Rose pointed out. "He's probably familiar with weird eye gouging moves.
