Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night - CANDY PARTY

Shilo had Frooties, Blo-Pops, Tootsie Rolls, and Starbursts out in bowls, and had stocked the fridge full of sodas and juices. She had a selection of ~~meta for~~ Disney movies to pick from.

The Candy Party was on a roll.

Elle smiled at the girl who'd noticed her and she stepped over with a perky little bounce, looking super cute. "Hi, I'm Elle Woods and this is Bruiser Woods. This is a super fun party, isn't it?"

Okay, the bounce might have made Alex grin a bit.

"Hi Elle, I'm Alex," she offered, wondering where this girl was from. "So far, so good. The candy's a plus," she chuckled. "I have to say Bruiser's adorable." Seriously. Small, cute animals equalled Alex's kryptonite. "I'm thinking about getting a pet."

"It's super nice to meet you, Alex. Such a cute name!" She grinned. "The candy is totally awesome. Aw, thank you, that's so sweet of you to say. Would you like to hold him? Pet's are so important omigod. Without Bruiser I would be super lonely."

"Thanks," Alex smiled. She didn't remember anyone ever telling her her name was cute before. "Uh, sure, if he won't mind?" That kind of made her miss her brother Justin's dog, just a bit.

"I'm not really sure what I should get, honestly." Translation: the kind of pet that her parents wouldn't freak out over.

"Bruiser never minds. He's friendly with just about anyone who is friendly first," she smiled and handed him over. "He trembles sometimes but that's just the way their breed is."

Elle considered Alex for a moment. "I can see you with a dog or a kitten. Perhaps with dark fur and very fluffy."

Alex held Bruiser carefully, not wanting him to get uncomfortable. "A friendly dog is good to have," she chuckled, finding how easy it was to relax with Bruiser in her arms.

"A trip to the pet store might be in order, then," Alex grinned. "I wouldn't object to something fluffy."

Bruiser sniffed at Alex, his little nose cold and wet. He was so super cute and it was obvious Elle was proud of him.

"Oh, Alex! I can comewith if you want some tag-along company! I just love pet sotres!"

Seriously. His nose so cute and the eyes, he'd gotten Alex with his eyes. Man, she'd be putty for any kitten or puppy she came across at the pet store. That could end badly (for her wallet).

"Sure, why not? The more the merrier!" Alex nodded, kind of excited about this. "Do you happen to know a girl named Harper? She's my best friend from back home and I was thinking of asking her along."

Most definitely. Bruiser had Elle wrapped around his tiny little paw and she loved every minute.

"Oh, yes! I do know her. I love her unique fashion sense." It was a tad stilted and unrefined, but wow the imagination. She got major points in Elle's book. "That would be super fun, Alex. We all could go for lunch and then a merry trip to the pet store!"
