Third Floor Common Room, Tuesday Night - CANDY PARTY

Shilo had Frooties, Blo-Pops, Tootsie Rolls, and Starbursts out in bowls, and had stocked the fridge full of sodas and juices. She had a selection of meta for Disney movies to pick from.

The Candy Party was on a roll.

Okay, ow. Normally Leda didn't have a problem with pink but for some reason that particular shade was hurting her eyes and in her current state that was worse than usual.

She blinked hard and put a hand to the bridge of her nose.

"Omigod," Elle exclaimed, concerned for the girl. "Are you alright? Do you have a candy-headache already? Can I get you anything?"

Oh and the pitch of the voice didn't help. But her attitude did. She seemed nice and that was certainly something Leda appreciated. "Um, I've got a headache, but I don't think it's from the candy. Do you have anything like, what do humans take for headaches?"

Elle didn't stare at the girl. Overly much at least. She had manners, and this poor girl had a headache. "Aw, you poor thing. I usually take Tylenol. It works super good. I can give you a couple, if you want?"

"It's not a problem whatsoever," she said and set Bruiser on the floor near her feet and then dug into her little purse for her small bottle of Tylenol. She tapped two into her palm and then extended her hand to the other girl. "I've never heard of Bordertown. Is it very far from here? Oh, I'm Elle Woods by the way and that is Bruiser." She indicated her small adorable dog.

"I bruiser." Leda waved. "Nice to meet you Elle." She took the Tylenol and downed them with some water. "I'm Leda. Bordertown is in the midwest somewhere, so, a few hours."

"The second half of the summer," she answered, tossing blonde hair over her shoulder. "I'm still trying to fit in but I do like it here and trying super hard not to be homesick."

"It's hard not to be homesick." Leda agreed. Even though she didn't consider the place where she'd lived in Bordertown 'home'. "Fitting in is a strange prospect around here though."
