Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

For the second night in a row, Bobby had set up a common room with his Go-Between Guy DVDs. This time, however, he'd also ordered a bunch of Chinese food- enough to share if anyone came by. He might not be able to cook, but at least he could feed people this way. It was only fair considering the number of times he'd had others' cooking.

[ooc: ...what can I say? I've been in a chatty mood lately.]

"It's totally not a saying most people our age throw around, I think, really," Bobby admitted.

"Especially from my age," Jennifer said.

"Huh?"

"Oh. I'm kind of from the seventies," Jen said.

"More time-travel weirdness," Bobby shook his head.

"Sorry," Jennifer said. "I know, it's kind of weird."

Bobby shrugged. "There's three of me," he said ~~and was suddenly struck with a strange feeling of deja-vu~~. "I've gotten used to it."

"Oh, okay," Jennifer said, rolling with it. "I've heard there's other me's, too."

"There's probably a you where I'm from, since your cousin's there," Bobby pointed out helpfully.

"Good point," Jennifer said. "I'll have to keep an eye out."

"If I ever run into the other you I could totally be like, 'hey, other-you says hi!'" Because that'd go over real well.

"Exactly," Jennifer said. "I'm sure it won't be awkward at all."

"Well, except maybe for the part where if you're from the seventies that means you're like, old back home," Bobby pointed out.

"Except you know my cousin, and he's not super old, right?" Jennifer said.

"Well, no," Bobby admitted.

"Exactly," Jennifer said. "So I'm probably not much older."

"See, and we're back to time-travel making my head hurt," Bobby sighed dramatically.

"Sorry," Jennifer said. "I'm just figuring... alternate universes have lots of... alternateness."

"No kidding," Bobby snorted. "I'm starting to think I need a list or something."

"Lists might be good," Jennifer said. "Help sort things out."

"I'm too lazy for colour-coding," Bobby warned her up front. He didn't do that OCD stuff.

"Well, it's your list," Jennifer said. "You're in charge."
