Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

For the second night in a row, Bobby had set up a common room with his Go-Between Guy DVDs. This time, however, he'd also ordered a bunch of Chinese food- enough to share if anyone came by. He might not be able to cook, but at least he could feed people this way. It was only fair considering the number of times he'd had others' cooking.

"Yes," Gabrielle said a little too decisively. She pointed at the guy in the jacket on the screen. "That's the main character. We don't know his name. He's just the Go-Between Guy, and he keeps the world safe from all the strange creatures no one is supposed to know exists. He also spends a lot of time walking through long winding hallways that Bobby says are designed that way on purpose."

"Why would anyone design lots of long winding hallways?" Jennifer asked.

"I don't know," Gabrielle said with a shrug. "That's what Bobby said. Strategy, and moody lighting. I'm not sure exactly what that means."

"Strategy?" Jennifer said. "Long hallways are strategic?"

Oh, now there was flailing. "That's what he said!"

"...Bobby might not be as clever as he is cute," Jennifer decided.

"Yeah," Gabrielle had to admit. "I didn't think it made that much sense, but he is cute, isn't he?"

Jennifer nodded. "Definitely," she said.
