Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

For the second night in a row, Bobby had set up a common room with his Go-Between Guy DVDs. This time, however, he'd also ordered a bunch of Chinese food- enough to share if anyone came by. He might not be able to cook, but at least he could feed people this way. It was only fair considering the number of times he'd had others' cooking.

"As another lacking in culinary gifts," Valentine said, perusing the offerings for something that would really hit the spot, "I can appreciate this approach. I will always love how, around here, there's always someone cooking or bringing something so I basically just have to scrounge and be well fed."

"Exactly!" Bobby beamed at her. "I've spent the last few weeks being stuffed by others' cooking, I figured I'd better repay the favour."

"Oh, sure," Valentine said, rolling her eyes slightly, "make me feel greedy and ungrateful."

The sarcasm was hopefully being supported by the fact that her comment did not seem to hold her back in grabbing a carton of noodles and vegetables and starting to dig in.

"Okay, let me rephrase that. My eyes were totally way bigger than my stomach, as my mom would say, and now I desperately need help in eating all this stuff before it goes bad."

"And far be it from me," Valentine chuckled a little, "to say no to a call for help. That's much better."
