Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

For the second night in a row, Bobby had set up a common room with his Go-Between Guy DVDs. This time, however, he'd also ordered a bunch of Chinese food- enough to share if anyone came by. He might not be able to cook, but at least he could feed people this way. It was only fair considering the number of times he'd had others' cooking.

"Bobby," he introduced himself. "It's this really great show about a guy who's training this girl to fight all the monsters and aliens and other things that are only supposed to exist in comic books but are actually really real. Only part of their job is also covering things up so regular people don't figure out how weird the world is."

"He'd have a field day here," she noted, giggling as she wandered in to help herself to some food and a seat on one of the couches. "Though I guess no one really tries to cover things up, here, so much." Except for her. And she didn't cover it up so much as just not advertise her powers.

"I think he'd maybe realise it was a lost cause after the third person in a week turned into a cat or something," Bobby replied. He was, of course, also on board with the 'covering things up' angle. It was a hard habit to break, and he still wasn't entirely convinced he should.

"He'd probably go nuts soon as the island did something crazy," she offered. "And something's wrong with all of us. Like when we all regressed in age."

"...Like when you all what?"

Sookie winced. "You weren't here? Um. Everyone turned into a little kid, one weekend. It was real cute!"

"That sounds awesome," Bobby said honestly. "I'd love for that to happen to me. It'd be way more interesting than being a penguin, anyway. At least I'd have hands."

"You were a penguin?" she asked, staring now. "Awww!"

"A little tiny fuzzy baby one, yeah, for like a week," Bobby nodded. "I was pretty cute," he admitted shamelessly, "but not being able to talk or pick things up meant things got old pretty quick."

"I bet, but awww. How darling." Sookie couldn't help herself. "Were you too hot, though?"

"Why would- oh, right, penguins aren't exactly native to Maryland," Bobby realised sheepishly. "Nah. I hung out in freezers sometimes though." Which... he did anyway as a human, shh.
