Fourth Floor Common Room [evening]

Sookie had been struck by the slightest bout of homesickness earlier, which, as it had her first night in Fandom, drove her to go to the store and return to her common room kitchen with armfuls of supplies to make banana pudding.

She was fairly satisfied with her first batch, which was set aside in a two-quart dish and from which she was sampling while she carefully whisked over a double boiler. She had no idea who was going to eat all this, but it was like a rule -- you couldn't make just a little of this stuff.

She was pretty sure she could find someone to eat it. It wasn't like people around here hated sweets or anything (though she imagined that'd be an awful life.) In the meantime, she stirred, pausing to turn the television onto some old sitcom, just for background noise.

[omg I don't even like bananas and I want to make that, now. totes open. come eat pudding.]

"Tisn't a worry," George said, smiling at her as she came in. "I do be managin' to keep track of meself. An' hopefully I haven't embarrassed ye much."

"Oh, I've been embarassing myself enough without your help, lately," Jennifer said.

"Couldn't be tha' bad, could it?" he asked, making a sympathetic face.

"Well, depends on how you consider almost flashing people when I get really angry," Jennifer said.

"Bein' angry makes ye take yer clothes off?" George repeated.

...that was a new one. And weirder than th' metal tubes with wings.

"More like being angry makes me grow tall and muscled and green," Jennifer said. "So my clothes tend to tear."

"...I could see where that could be a bit difficult," he said, still wtfing.

"I mean, it's actually kind of fun?" Jennifer said. "Other than the whole clothing tearing thing. It's... I guess empowering, is the word."
