Fourth Floor Common Room [evening]
Sookie had been struck by the slightest bout of homesickness earlier, which, as it had her first night in Fandom, drove her to go to the store and return to her common room kitchen with armfuls of supplies to make banana pudding.
She was fairly satisfied with her first batch, which was set aside in a two-quart dish and from which she was sampling while she carefully whisked over a double boiler. She had no idea who was going to eat all this, but it was like a rule -- you couldn't make just a little of this stuff.
She was pretty sure she could find someone to eat it. It wasn't like people around here hated sweets or anything (though she imagined that'd be an awful life.) In the meantime, she stirred, pausing to turn the television onto some old sitcom, just for background noise.
[omg I don't even like bananas and I want to make that, now. totes open. come eat pudding.]

"That smells good," he said from the doorway.

She caught sight of the fuzzy thing he was holding, and gave the obligatory, "Awwwwwww! What a darling little...critter! Pet?"
no subject
Or sooner.
"What'd you make?" he asked, wandering over.

So subtle, our Claudia.

"Pretty lass," he replied, waving back.

"It's that time again!" After a brief pause, he continued, as if addressing someone who wasn't there. "No, it's time to learn the day's lesson! And to find out what it is, we turn to... The Wheel of Morality!" Yakko motioned towards the door, where a large wheel with 'The Wheel of Morality' written on it in huge letters drifted in.
"Wheel of Morality, turn, turn, turn," Yakko recited as he spun the wheel. "Tell us the lesson that we should learn." As the spinning wheel slowed down and landed on the number 2, a sheet of paper was printed from a slot on the side. Yakko went to his next line as he grabbed the sheet of paper. "Moral Number Two. And the moral of today's story is... Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, so avoid the whole problem by taking an English class instead."
Yakko shrugged, darted out of the room, and the wheel disappeared out into the hallway a moment later.

"...see you later!" she called after it, wondering where the wheel had gone. She was grateful to have learned, though!

Or, you know, he was a fifteen year old guy.
"Sookie! Are you cooking stuff? More importantly, are you sharing whatever you're cooking?" Yes, the second question had effectively answered the first one. Shh.
