Hurley, despite actually being in a relationship, was still a sucker for Expose marathons. He couldn't help it. He was drawn like a moth to a flame.

Or in this instance, like a teenage boy armed with popcorn and soda to a couch in front of a TV.

...Okay, the simile was a stretch.

Penelope was looking for him. Shame that she had to find him watching those kind of girls.

"Oh. Hi, Hurley," she said and sat down on the couch by him.

"Oh, hey Penelope," Hurley said. "Want some popcorn? I think they're finally about to catch the big bad guy."

Yes, Hurley was going to say he watched for the plot.

"You never know," Hurley said, smiling at her.

"Well then, I guess I'll have to watch this with you," she said, taking some popcorn. "Skin is skin, right?"

Hurley suddenly picked up on the vibe. "...you want to change the channel?" he said.

"What? And miss the good parts? Not on your life," she said, eyes on the TV as she acted totally interested. And the popcorn wasn't bad either.

"Okay," Hurley said. "You, uhhh, look really nice today."

"Thanks, Hurley," she smiled. "I've had a good day so far."

Ino leaned in the door way and studied the television for a moment.

"Seriously?"

That totally counted as hello.

Penelope smirked. "Hi, Ino. Hurley likes the strippers."

[intraspective]

"But it's trash," she complained, wandering over. "And they're not even, like, super attractive. There's prettier walkin' 'round the school fully clothed, geez."

A pause.

"Hiii."

"Yes, I know," she agreed. "But big breasted trash. I guess boys like that." Said like Hurley wasn't listening.

She smiled.

"Hi!"

"...They fight crime!" Hurley protested. Again.

Ino had to glance down at her chest and sigh. Oh well.

"Most," she noted, perching on the back of the sofa. "Have more taste than to do it where they can be openly mocked however."

This was probably true.

"Long time no see, you. What's been going on with you lately?"

"Yes, but I suppose some don't expect living breathing real girls to walk in while they're absorbed in the flashy fighting crime twins, while pretending to enjoy the popcorn more than the show." Penelope had no issues with this whatsoever. Really.

"Nooothing much," she grinned. "There was a date with the guy watching boobs over here, oh and Joan moved in with me! How're you?"

[intraspective]

"Never mind that the real girls are totally cuter," Ino said, totally getting the issues here. Seriously.

"Being booored," she drawled, smiling. "Though I guess giving a guy I just met a kiss is something exciting. And Cal's back, did you know? That's totally exciting." It was to her, at least. Ino adored Cal to bits. "You and Joan, huh? Guess you wanted company?"

"Totally cuter. And real. All real. Nothing fake or plastic about us." Plastic was an issue. Especially when used for enhancement purposes that made your boyfriends eyes boggle out of his skull.

"Wait, back up. You kissed a guy you just met? Oh, do tell." She and Cal didn't get off to a good start friend wise so Penelope couldn't be as excited as Ino seemed to be. "I didn't know, no. But that's good. I hope he's doing well." She should bother to go say hi at some point or another. "I like having a roommate better than I do being alone."

"Half naked," she pointed out, sticking her tongue out at him. "And if you tell me that that's not part of the appeal, I'm totally stealing all your popcorn."

"Not always," Hurley said. "I mean, sometimes they still have most of their clothes on. But... you're totally welcome to the popcorn, anyway."

"That's boring," Ino informed him. "Stealing it would be half the fun, and watching your face when you realized it was gone'd be the other half."

Well. At least she was honest?

Hurley shook his head. "At least you're only stealing my popcorn," he said, smiling.

She looked interested. "Do you have anything more exciting for me to steal right now?"

She could steal the remote! Hmmm.
