The garage- Monday evening

There had been a couple talks lately that had made Jaina think that getting back into the garage was a good idea. She hadn't done much at all since she'd finished the hoverboard... nearly two years ago, which she didn't really like. It wasn't really something she'd meant to give up, especially if she couldn't work on the ships back home while she was here.

So she was in the garage, in grease-stained coveralls that were actually looser than they had been when she first got to Fandom, doing some routine maintenance on the swoop bike between calls she had to make for work. She was trying to multitask.

That would be a lot easier if she could find her hydrospanner. It was probably a good thing she hadn't seen the little blue things take off with it, lest she think they were oxygen-deprived gremlins or something.

Maybe she really would have to take it out tonight.

She couldn't help but be amused at the glee there, and set to work trying to find her kriffing tools while she waited for him to come back.

Jaina couldn't help but laugh at the reaction. "I take it you enjoyed yourself?"

"Definitely! It rides faster than the ones I'm used to, but that's mostly because I've never gotten a chance to ride on any bikes the Taris swoop gangs have modified," Zayne said. "And it handles pretty well, but I think the average Taris swoop takes turns a little tighter. I'm not complaining about that, though. But the engine? Wow, it accelerated like crazy."

Part of Jaina really wanted her dad to come for Parents Weekend, just to give Zayne the chance to geek out some more. "That's some nice detail there. You've definitely got basis for comparison."

"Like I've said before, swoop bikes are pretty much life on Taris," Zayne said. "For kids born there, it's crawl, walk, swoop bike. I was walking by the time I was on Taris, so I was able to jump straight into riding."

"Well, if you ever get the urge to go for a ride, let me know. I'm sure we can work something out," she said.
