First Floor Lobby: Wednesday Morning

Ah. Genderswap day. Layla was up early this morning in the lobby setting up bin of underwear, jeans and t-shirts for the newly awakened guys to partake of.

Everything was organized according to style and then size for the convenience of anyone coming down stairs in a panic of some sort.

Layla then settled down in a sunny spot (please not that her skin was not sparkly, thank you very much) and started reading Ayn Rand for probably the one hundredth time.

"I don't know, maybe everyone just needs a hobby?"

"Does that mean yer me hobby, Jaina?" he asked. "Cause I'm thinkin' that sounds odd."

"That's not what I meant and you know it," she groused.

"I can' read yer mind!" George argued. "How am I s'pposed t'know. It's like yer a sister t'me."

Jaina gave him a Look, wondering just what kind of family he came from. "Let me add that to the very long list of reasons not to hit on me!"

...okay, that didn't come out exactly as he meant.

"But why would tha' be th' one t'stop it?"

Jaina hoped that one didn't come out the way he meant it too. "I can't talk to you anymore," she said.

George grinned and gave her a teasing little bow. "Good day t'ye. Wit' luck th' Trickster'll have had his fun and moved on t'morrow."

Oh, of all the kriffing phrasing to use...

"The Trickster is not having fun," Jaina grumbled, turning back to the clothes, mostly just to have something to mess with that wouldn't break.

George watched her for a moment, totally ready to open his mouth and ask.

But discretion and valor and the fact that she looked like she was going to kill something made that all click in.

"If ye say so, lass."
