Fourth Floor Common Room | Sunday Evening | January 10

Hayley was, thankfully, not making a giant mess in the common room again. This time she just had a bowl of popcorn sitting mostly untouched on a coffee table. Hayley herself was draped over a couch, debating if she should call some of the people that'd left her messages yesterday back again.

Yeah, no one had told her those weren't intended for her.

For now, she had a 'Man vs Food' marathon on the TV, though it was mostly unwatched. She kept dozing off. The couch was just that comfy.

[ooc: Open!]

Helen made her way into the common room and flopped herself onto a couch. Not a typical Helen-like move, but she was tired and bored and sick of her room.

"What is this?" she said, nodding towards the TV.

Helen looked closer and shuddered a little. "Why would he do that?"

"And on TV he would get a good deal of money for... this."

Helen considered. "I suppose I can understand the attraction."

Helen watched in that sort of rapt fascination in which one watches a train wreck. "I... I do see what you mean. How does he consume all of that?"

"Why is he not huge?" Helen wondered. "If I were to attempt that..."

Helen wouldn't know a camel from a platypus so she simply nodded. "Perhaps. It still seems that it would make him unwell."

Helen raised an eyebrow. "I would not be at all surprised."

She watched for another moment. "Some of the food does look intriguing," she admitted.

Helen nodded. "Food would be good. Should we make something or order something?"

"I can cook fairly well," Helen admitted. "But I would not be averse to ordering out."

"You sh-should get a blanket," Hinata teased softly, smiling as she entered the room. "If you're going to curl up on the couch like that. Hello, Hayley."

Helen waved a hand. "Money is of no concern. I made sure the priests gave me a generous allotment when they forced me to come here."

She considered. "Pizza is always good. Or Chinese perhaps. I have not tried much of the other options."

She leant over the side of the couch and asked, "but now you're not sure?"

"Good evening," she said mildly. "At least, I h-hope yours has been?"

"They did," Helen said grimly. "Apparently, once I had fulfilled my destiny they saw no further use for me."
