Hayley was, thankfully, not making a giant mess in the common room again. This time she just had a bowl of popcorn sitting mostly untouched on a coffee table. Hayley herself was draped over a couch, debating if she should call some of the people that'd left her messages yesterday back again.

Yeah, no one had told her those weren't intended for her.

For now, she had a 'Man vs Food' marathon on the TV, though it was mostly unwatched. She kept dozing off. The couch was just that comfy.

Helen made her way into the common room and flopped herself onto a couch. Not a typical Helen-like move, but she was tired and bored and sick of her room.

"What is this?" she said, nodding towards the TV.

Hayley looked over. "I dunno. This guy keeps eating things I don't think normal people should eat."

Helen looked closer and shuddered a little. "Why would he do that?"

"I guess because they put him on TV for it," Hayley said. "I don't blame him for it, really."

"Good evening," she said mildly. "At least, I h-hope yours has been?"

Helen nodded. "It has not been bad. And yours?"

"Quite nice," she answered, smiling. "But a bit too quiet--I am glad I found people out here. Company will make the time past more pleasantly."

"You sh-should get a blanket," Hinata teased softly, smiling as she entered the room. "If you're going to curl up on the couch like that. Hello, Hayley."

"I ain't cold, honest," Hayley said. "... At least, I don't think I've been. Hi Hinata."

She leant over the side of the couch and asked, "but now you're not sure?"

"Well, I hadn't even thought about it," Hayley said, curling her legs up under her. "Maybe I just hadn't realized I should be."

Harper was all smiles as she entered the common room, her sewing basket in hand. "Mind sharing the table? I need some room to lay out these pattern pieces before I start sewing them together," she said.

"Wh-What sort of pattern are you sewing together, Harper?" Hinata asked, tilting her head to see the other girl. "I th-think there's plenty of room in here, however."

"It's going to be a jacket eventually," said Harper, proudly showing off what looked like a collar. It was worth noting that none of the other fabric pieces looked vaguely jacket-shaped.

Hinata noticed it.

"Have you much work to go on it?" she asked curiously. "I d-don't think I've seen much of your work when it wasn't already complete or near so."

"Oh, go right ahead," Hayley said, moving her popcorn bowl. "You a talented seamstress?"

"I am," said Harper. "I take commissions, too, if you ever need something a little different."

And Harper's clothes were certainly different.

"That might be needed," Hayley said. "Sometime. Maybe right before graduation."

She wanted to replace that outfit she'd lost that night.

Hurley wasn't sure why he'd wandered down a floor, but he showed up none-the-less.

Then he remembered.

"Anybody seen any ham? I was thinking of making a sandwich."

"I th-think I saw some while I was making tea," she offered, having been in the fridge to get milk for the tea. "Hello Hurley."

"Hey Hinata," Hurley said. "Long time no see. You doin' good?"

"We must just keep missing each other," she answered, smiling at that. "I have been qu-quite well and trying to get out more, so perhaps I'll see you more often?"

Hayley looked over at Hurley and boggled.

"You look like how he should look," she said, pointing at the TV.

Hurley made a face.

"Yeah, that's not cool, dude."

"...what, I didn't say it was a bad thing," Hayley said. "I'm sure you must have had a lot of fun gettin' that big, right? Why be ashamed?"
