5th Floor Common Room, Monday Early Evening

Really, she ought to be asleep despite the ridiculously early hour. A weekend spent with little sleep and using loads of energy meant by all rights that she should be dead to the world at the moment. Ino had spent about an hour after her last class staring up at the ceiling before giving that idea up for a lost cause and wandered out to the common room to see what she could find that was entertaining enough to keep her from getting bored.

Normally Ino wasn't much of one for movies, but poking around turned up The Continuous Tale and it looked interesting enough for her to stare at while she tried to convince herself to unwind enough to actually sleep. Score!

That decided on, she made popcorn (because if she was going to do this movie thing, she was going to do it right) and curled up on the couch, hitting play. And, okay, maybe snuggle into a blanket as well. That counted as part of the whole movie thing, right? Right?

It totally did. She could even be convinced to share, if asked nicely.

[Ooopen as a common room is, yes!]

Angela raised a hand in a little wave of greeting. "It's been a while," she said, smiling easily. "Brought here by the sound of people or the smell of popcorn?"

"The popcorn," Helen admitted, blushing a bit. "And perhaps the comfort of my old common room."

"How long since you switched floors?" she wondered, tucking her feet up onto the seat she was on.

"Oh, I switched in September," Helen said. "But I'm afraid I was rather a hermit this past semester and didn't get out much at all."

"Hermit-ing is completely allowed," Angela assured her. "We all do it sometimes."

"... Technically, I do mine with someone." But it still kind of counted as being a little antisocial. At least spending most of this weekend holed up in her room was understandable.

"With someone?" Helen said curiously, then blushed. "Oh! Oh, yes. I see. I... I hermited alone."

"You don't have a roommate in your new room?" she guessed. "Having all the space to yourself, not such a bad thing either."

"I do, but, well... she's quiet. And much of my hermiting was done in the woods or the library or the Gig. Places where I was quite alone." It had been a hard and confusing semester.

"Well, sweetie, when you decide you want some non-alone time, I am always around." And she was generally not quiet at all, so it might be a nice contrast.

"Really?" Helen said with some surprise. "You would spend time with me?"

This was... she was not prepared for the number of people lately who had expressed a desire to be friendly. She had no idea how to take it.

"Of course." It didn't really occur to Angela why someone would be so surprised by an offer like that. "Why wouldn't I?" She didn't really know Helen for more than for a couple of conversations, but she didn't strike her as particularly unlikeable...

"I'm... not always a particularly pleasant person," Helen admitted quietly.
