4th Floor Common Room: Monday [3-15-10]

Helen took Kianah to the common room where the wee one would have a bit more room to run around like the 3 inch tall crazy fennec fox she was. It was amusing to watch her dash around, investigating everything and then periodically throw herself to the ground and rest before jumping up and dashing around again.

The TV was on, but Helen honestly wasn't paying much attention to it and wouldn't care if someone wanted to change it to something else.

"And what," asked Jack as he entered the room, "is that? Or is it a who?"

"She is a fennec fox. Named Kianah," Helen said, watching her pet fondly.

"So it's a pet? Not a student? Awww, she's so cute!" He squatted down, still a distance away. "Who's a little finicky fox? Huh? Who's a cute lil fox?"

After training and class, Rose was pretty much starving. Starving enough that she'd even venture attempting to cook in the Common Room. It was slightly amazing, yes, but even she could probably manage a box of macaroni and cheese.

"Hey" was the easy greeting as she entered the CR, making a path to avoid the little animal that would find her disturbing. "What're you watching?"

"Kianah, mostly," Helen admitted, gesturing to the tiny creature. "Feel free to change yje channel if you'd like."

The comment lost her a little, but sure, she'd go with it.

"No big," Rose said, heading into the kitchen. "Animals don't like me well enough to let me try to change their channel."

"That dog is weird-looking," Puck decided, flinging himself onto an available couch.

"It does look strange for a dog," Helen said dryly. "However, for a fennec fox, she looks perfectly normal."

"Aren't those like, wild animals?" Puck asked curiously, now trying to get a better look at the animal. "Is this like how some people keep monkeys for pets? Did you have to get a special license or whatever?"

"You're just leaving yourself open for way too much when you say stuff like that," Rose said, way too amused.

"I'm just making observations," Puck assured her with a smile. "That dog is weird-looking, that TV show is boring, and," he nodded to her, "that girl is hot. See? I'm just good at noticing things."

Jaina was bored, and hungry, and if she didn't get out of her room she was going to go insane.

She didn't quite count on the fight of a little... big ear thing running around, and found herself staring. And wondering if it wasn't some rodent type relative of Yoda.

Helen nodded to her. "Does Kianah bother you? I can have her come to me if you wish."

"Big sister!" Puck said, waving at her lazily. "That's not a dog, in case you were wondering. I already found out."

"Hey Jaina," Rose called. "Want some mac and cheese?"

It was probably edible.

Between being in the rain and mud for Outdoor Fitness and then in the shower for way too long to clean up after that, Zayne felt too water-logged to try and fail at meditation tonight.

That's why he went up to the fourth floor and gave the room a wave. "Hi, everybody." His hands still felt wrinkled. They weren't, but they felt like they were.

Helen nodded at him. "Hello. Feel free to change the channel if you wish. I don't mean to monopolize it when I'm barely watching it."

"Get all the mud out?" Rose asked, giving Zayne a wave.

"Hey," Puck said, glancing up and giving a little wave. "How's it going, dude?"

Because it was fun to wander the dorms in search of entertainment, Clark joined the gathered people in hopes that no one was watching people give birth in toilets. There was a reason he tried not to watch TV now, yes.

And then he spotted the fox. "Is that some leftover from the weird rats yesterday?" Cruel to shave it.

"She's a fennec fox," Helen explained. "And no. Though she did find them most curious."

"If it is, does that mean there's more pie?" Puck asked, perking right up.

AHAHAHA, Rose remembered Clark. Hard not to remember the guy she convinced another guy was pregnant.

"That would actually be kinda cool," she pointed out.
