6th Floor CR, Thursday Afternoon

Tony was running a bit late today, so it was Jack who got to the sixth floor first and cleared a space for a rehearsal. He kept glancing out the window at the fog as he did; he still didn't like this one bit.

The cast had all received a handwavey email telling them where and when to meet to rehearse. Jack trusted that the townies involved wouldn't be too heartbroken to miss a week, circumstances being what they were.

"We're on act three this week," Jack announced. "No muffins, but there's probably left over cake from the party last night if you poke around enough. Tony will be here to direct in a moment."

Jack failed at finding the cake, but he did locate a soda which he sipped as he watched the group. He kept flipping through some Scientific Americans he'd borrowed from the library, though he still wasn't learning much that could be useful.

He was grateful to still be dead during this act. He wouldn't have been able to concentrate on acting.

Kate wasn't in the third act at all, but it was nice to have something to do, so here she was, watching.

And she had some candy with her, which she'd share if anyone asked her to.

Priestly was still in his "venturing into the fog" outfit from work -- a bandana across his face, goggles, and a head lamp. And he was still gripping a lacrosse stick.

Look, he might have to go back to work after this. Hey, at least he was getting a work out, running around like that.

Sam had to admit, he was pretty impressed by Priestly's improvisation, although he still snickered a little when he saw him. "I think you can stand down now that you're inside."

Ender was present for rehearsal, sure, but his mind definitely wasn't. His eyes kept wandering towards the windows, a frown set on his face.

Emma was indeed there, wrapped in a heavy shawl and with tea clutched in her hands. Possibly fending off a Jack with her script if he started fussing too much.

Karla was there, sipping a mug of tea. Her headache and nausea were much better than they'd been yesterday (thanks to telepathic fun-times and the fog, respectively), but neither were entirely gone.

Her script was next to her, but she wasn't really focusing on it.

Would that Dinah could say the same, but, heh, details.

Dinah brought out the last of the cake, cookies, and snacks. Hey, they shouldn't go to waste. And people might be getting hungry and not wanting to venture into the fog for food.

Sam was very grateful to not have to spend any more time outside than necessary, and was paying a little more attention to how everyone looked than on his script at the moment.

Harper was there. Without any costumes to work on, she set herself up in charge of making a pot of tea in the kitchen. With everything going on this week, people were going to need tea.
