3rd Floor Common Room [Saturday Evening]

Fear, Fandom, fear. For Bobby had had not one, but two caffeinated beverages this afternoon. Which would explain why he was not so much sitting in the common room as bouncing around it, flipping through channels, then checking the fridge, then back to the couch, then back to the fridge, as if its contents would have magically changed in the five minutes since he last checked.

Sookie, bored, wandered downstairs until she reached a common room with someone in it.

And then just paused in the doorway and quietly observed the ADD, taking a moment to bolster her mental shields. "You look...awake."

"Free coffee!" Bobby grinned at her. "Well, one free coffe and one not-free coffee. Also, hi!"

"Hi," Sookie said mildly, having to smile at him as she wandered in to sit on the couch. "I swear, coffee affects you more than anyone I know. You're gonna bounce right out the window if you don't watch out."

"That's why I made sure it's closed," Bobby deadpanned. "Less chance of that happening."

"Yo dude," Hurley said, wandering into the common room with a chocolate cake he'd got on his way back from work. He set it on a counter and then went and took a seat without taking any cake for himself.

"Almost end of the term, huh?"

He'd be stuck on that for a bit.

"Yuuuup," Bobby said, flopping back down on the couch. "Ooh, you brought cake?"

"Yep," Hurley said. "People are welcome to have some. Just felt like a cake night, you know?"

"Totally not gonna object to that," Bobby said with a nod. "So it's not, like, anyone's birthday or anything?" he checked.

"You brought cake!" Sookie greeted excitedly. "Hi, Hurley."

"Hey Sookie," Hurley greeted back, mirroring her enthusiasm. "Just felt like a cake night. Got to celebrate what time I've got left here, you know?"

Sookie frowned a little. "That's right. Graduation's kinda snuck up on me."

Ellie wandered down two floors below her own because she was bored. When she finally noticed people in a common room, she stopped in. "Hey, Bobby. Anything good on tv?"

"Hockey?" he grinned. "Though I dunno if that's your thing."

"Yeah, we're not big sports watchers in my family," Ellie admitted, taking a seat on a chair. "Though I hear hockey playoffs are pretty exciting."

"They are intense," Bobby said enthusiastically.

"Even if you don't want to watch hockey, Hurley brought cake," Sookie noted helpfully with a cheerful wave.

"Well, I am of the belief that cake makes everything better," Ellie replied with a grin.

"I can't think of a single situation that can't be improved with cake," Sookie declared.

On one hand Dru wasn't the most sociable person, but on the other, there apparently was a limit to how much time a she could spend alone sketching. And she'd hit it.

Sketchbook still in hand, Dru wandered into the room in search of people.

And people she found! "Dru, hey. Come in... pull up a couch, make yourself comfortable."

"Hey Bobby," Dru replied, taking a seat on the couch and tucking her feet under her. "What are you up to?"

"Wishing dinner would magically appear in the fridge," he admitted. "So far, not having much luck."

Sookie waved at the new girl. "Hey there! Come watch TV. Or Bobby bounce off the walls. That's pretty entertaining, too."

"Is there anything decent on?" Dru asked. "It's Saturday night after all and given a choice between watching Bobby bounce or whatever movie is showing on SciFi, we'd probably be more entertained watching Bobby."

"Hockey," Sookie said with a little wrinkle of her nose. "I've been watching Bobby, but we can't let him know. It's like how they don't alert the animals on Discovery Channel."
