Tonight was the season finale of Rumor Gal, so of course Raven had commandeered the common room to watch it. It was going to be the perfect distraction from her father and Sebastian and strange boys on roofs telling her she was going to turn evil.

Unless the characters' actions got her all riled up. That could be a problem.

Dan tilted his head to the side, looking a bit confused. "Can't say I've ever heard of that city."

Tim waved a hand. "Yeah, a lot of people haven't. It's weird. Back home, it's like New York or Metropolis. Everyone knows about it."

Dan nodded, understanding. "One of those weird different universe things. I get it."

"Good, 'cause I'm still figuring it out," Tim said. "How'd you end up at this school?"

"My scholarship at my old one ran out and a brochure for this one ended up in the mail somehow," Dan said. "...it was all very mysterious, now that I think about it."

Tim wondered again about the school's recruiting techniques. "Do you like your old school better than this one?" he asked.

"My old school was awful. It was this private school with all these rich pretentious kids. I definitely didn't belong there," Dan told him. "Everyone here is a lot nicer and more accepting."

Tim grimaced. "Yeah, I went to boarding school with a lot of those kids when I was younger. This place is way better."
