Fifth Floor Common Room, Monday Night

Tonight was the season finale of Rumor Gal, so of course Raven had commandeered the common room to watch it. It was going to be the perfect distraction from her father and Sebastian and strange boys on roofs telling her she was going to turn evil.

Unless the characters' actions got her all riled up. That could be a problem.

Tim came into the common room and picked up the remote. "You're not actually watching this, are you?"

Raven stared at Tim in horror. "Please, do not change the channel!" she said. "This is my favorite television show!"

"What, seriously?" But he put the remote back down.

Dan was bored as hell and decided to be sociable for once. Nobody die of shock.

"Um, hello," Dan said when he came in. "Mind if I join you?"

"Hey," Tim said. "Are you on this floor? I don't think we've met."

"Uh, no, I'm on the second floor. There's just absolutely nothing going on between here and there," Dan said. "I'm Dan."

"Certainly," Raven said, giving him a smile. "You are most welcomed to join us. But do not change the channel, please."

"Oh no problem." He didn't watch much TV so he didn't have many favorite shows he'd want to change the channel to. "What are we watching?"

Sookie didn't know this guy, but a quick lowering of her shields told her that she'd heard him and his loud, loud thoughts before.

But at least they hadn't been dirty thoughts. That she'd noticed. That gave him a plus in her book. "Hi there! Are you another Rumor Gal fan?"

"Not in the least," Dan said, smiling a little. "I was just bored and wanted to find people. You're a fan?"

Hoshi was still upset about not hearing from Hurley. But it was Monday night and there was a tradition that must be upheld. So she made her way to the common room and found herself a seat on the couch.

"Hey Raven," she said with a wave. "Ready for the finale?"

"Of course," Raven beamed, passing Hoshi the popcorn. "I cannot wait to see what happens."

"The only problem is that I missed last week's episode," said Hoshi, helping herself to some popcorn. "Will I be able to follow along?"

Hayley wandered in, looking rather excited.

"Ooooh, Rumor Gal," she said, plopping down on a sofa. "Is it Monday already?"

"It is the season finale, Hayley," Raven said, terribly excited by this.

"Oh, no," Hayley said. "It's ending?" She looked saddened. "I don't want it to. It shouldn't stop."

Tim gave Hayley a cautious wave. "Hi," he said.

"Hey there," Hayley said, happy he actually greeted her. "Guess I didn't scare you off. Great!"

She shifted so she was a bit closer. "You adjusting okay? Anything bite you yet?"

Sookie had been a bit subdued since the day prior, mostly out of worry for a certain someone out of town. But once she reached a certain point, she decided that even if she couldn't go outside because of the weather, she could at least go to the common room. Holing up in her room was a horrible idea.

And what a good decision that had been. "Ooh, Rumor Gal. Studying human emotion again?"

"They promise to be very strong tonight," Raven said, smiling at Sookie. "It is the end of the season. I hope it will not be a cliffhanger, though."

"Hey!" Tim said. "How've you been?"

Jason couldn't resist peeking into the common room when he heard the television on, until he saw what was playing. "Are you seriously watching this, or are you making fun of it?"

"She's watching it," Tim waved a hand at Raven, then lowered his voice to a stage whisper. "But if you want to mock it, you can sit by me."

"It is my favorite show!" Raven said. Well, it was her only show.

"I think the room's kind of split," Sookie admitted, smiling at him. "Raven's a pretty serious devotee, though."
