The cabins were starting to get to Alex. Sure, he and Griff often got into fistfights or bitch fights or any other type of fights but he'd only had to deal with one person when he was in a pissy mood. And Griff wasn't one to nag or be nosy so it'd been a copacetic situation.

Now, just to stop feeling like the walls were closing in on him, Alex had bolted out of his cabin and towards the campfire with the intention of smoking enough cigarettes to calm himself down. His mood was just fine, for once, but he was not built for cabin living.

At least the sun was going down and taking the temperature with it. Alex found a spot near the campfire, relaxed back against a log and stretched out, already lighting up a smoke and taking advantage of being outside to indulge in his favorite vice.

See, he already felt better.

"You're so gullible," Alex told him, shaking his head. "So gullible. Easiest toy to get? Handcuffs."

"...I could get those at the dollar store, even," Griff realized. "The plastic kind!"

"Exactly," Alex said, grinning at being able to help. "They're simple and you don't have to embarrass yourself to death in the sex shop. I'd hate for you to go in there and end up with a vibrator or something accidentally."

"Because I need that sort of nightmare," Griff agreed with Karev's sentiment entirely. He'd sort of dated a girl who considered herself related to the owner of the shop, after all. "Thanks for the help."

"Hey, what are more experienced roommates for?" Alex asked, shrugging. "You have to demonstrate those toys or just bring them in?"

"I will be praying to the gods of summer or some shit that all I ever have to do for that class is show up." And then hide and never ever participate.

Alex tilted his head and regarded Griff a bit. "Yeah, you probably haven't even asked. How are you ever gonna get your V card punched if you don't go after the ones that want to get laid?"

"It's cool, Karev. I don't mind that I'm likely to die a virgin." It was sadly true.

"No, you won't," Alex told him, trying to sound sure of this. "That's what hookers are for."

"Shame," Alex told him, shaking his head sadly. "Such a shame, Griff. Maybe a weekend of island weirdness will help you at some point. You'll end up in bed with someone hot and not a hooker."
