Farewell Slumber Party, 6th Floor, Wednesday Night

By now, Karla was used to throwing parties at school. The set-up was easy enough: lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of games and activities, lots of space. There were some streamers and balloons up, mostly because Karla was trying to remind everyone (or, at least, herself) that this was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Really. It was. At least, that's what everyone kept telling her.

The important thing to keep in mind was that there would (probably) be no repeat of her last sixth floor party sadly. She had gone the safe an glitter-free route this time. Clad in her new pajamas, Karla waited for her guests to arrive.

[Yay for slumber parties. For girls only (and our honorary girl for the evening), up early for great SP justice. Please hold for OCD up!]

"That was my last sixth floor party," Karla deadpanned, hoping Quinn wouldn't realize just how much truth that statement held. "Just a greeting, neither an offer or an invitation."

"Oh," Quinn nodded. "This girl at Pixie Dust told me she had to kiss me to sell me anything once. It was really strange. But if it's just a greeting ... kiss kiss?"

"Wow, yeah," Karla said, shaking her head quickly. "The last time I charged anyone for a kiss, it was in a kissing booth for charity. I promise, none of that here."

Just...yeah, wow. Weird. Which of course meant Karla had to ask. "Did you buy anything?"

That didn't exactly come as a surprise to Karla. Considering the bottle that was kept behind the counter and the burn parties they had with the ugly clothing, she doubted if turning a profit had ever been high in the owner's concerns.

"I don't think any of the other stores have that kind of policy," Karla offered. "'Dite's doesn't, thank the Darkness."
