Farewell Slumber Party, 6th Floor, Wednesday Night

By now, Karla was used to throwing parties at school. The set-up was easy enough: lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of games and activities, lots of space. There were some streamers and balloons up, mostly because Karla was trying to remind everyone (or, at least, herself) that this was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Really. It was. At least, that's what everyone kept telling her.

The important thing to keep in mind was that there would (probably) be no repeat of her last sixth floor party sadly. She had gone the safe an glitter-free route this time. Clad in her new pajamas, Karla waited for her guests to arrive.

[Yay for slumber parties. For girls only (and our honorary girl for the evening), up early for great SP justice. Please hold for OCD up!]

Leda arrived, seedybox in hand. The seedybox was a magical version of a cd player/i-pod. It had speakers and contained a wide variety of moddable music.

Her hair, which had been growing out a bit, was black, but there were tiny pinpoints of light throughout it, like a night sky. She'd worked very hard on it.

Sookie had promised to bake, so bake she had. She had a tray of brownies as well as a platter of cookies with her when she arrived, glancing around. She might not have been at the prior slumber party of Karla's, but she'd heard about it.

Diana showed up in a tshirt that said "My sister's boy-toy went to hell and all I got was this lousy tshirt." and pj pants. "I figured Samuel didn't qualify as a girl." She said rather cheerfully as she came in.

Hoshi was leaving tomorrow, and while she would only be a short distance away, she didn't want to think about have to go. A slumber party sounded like an excellent diversion. She was trying to keep smiling as she arrived and looked around.

K-Mart arrived at the party after having convinced her cat that no, it could not come with her. Kitty had not been amused.

Elle was a little unsure of this. She hadn't done sleepovers in... well, since she was little. And those hadn't gone well. At all.

So it was a slightly nervous but still interested Elle that came to the sleepover, looking around to see who else was there.

She'd considered tracking down Puck and making him buy her some wine coolers, but decided not to be That Girl until she knew That Girl would be appreciated at a Fandom party.

She smiled at the group, wondering who to talk to first.

After not only receiving the e-mailed invitation that had gone out, but also the personal invite from Karla herself, which had been very kind, Hinata was all but obligated to show up.

So she did, with Yei gently cradled in her arms.

"A-Ano," she said, "I am not bothering anyone with the kitten?"

At the very least, she knew she wasn't bothering Karla by bringing the kitten. Not with the way Karla doted on Yei. That box of toys still amused her.

Azula was bored and going to the party seemed a good way to alleviate her boredom. She brought along Fire Flakes (http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Flaming_Fire_Flakes) mostly for her own enjoyment (most food in Fandom were bland to her taste) and as a gift to the host.

Fire Nation Royalty might be a lot of things but it does know to keep appearances. Not that Azula would warn people if they choose to taste her Fire Flakes.

Elena was here, instead of packing. Turks traveled light, so even after a year, there wasn't too much shit to pack. Besides, tomorrow was for packing, not tonight.

And so she was waving at people, trying not to feel sad, and trying to make sure Rosalind didn't run for it.

"PJs would have killed you?" she asked. Leave it to Rosalind to wear the suit to a slumber party.

There's a ton of variety, but that's not a surprise to anyone, is it? Plenty of moddable snacks, drinks, and food. Karla apologizes for not cooking any of it, but she was really busy today.

Dinah's brought Love's Soaring Searing Salvation, a timeless tale about deathless romance. The cover is the typical romance novel cover, with the heroine being bent backwards at a fairly impossible (and really painful) angle, while the border is ringed by foil flames.

From the back: He was a banana plantation owner. And she was a missionary with a quest. A quest to save him from himself, and the cruel machinations of a dictatorship gone wrong. Can Constance save Luis from himself, even as he struggles to save his plantation and his people? Is love really the ultimate salvation?
