Farewell Slumber Party, 6th Floor, Wednesday Night

By now, Karla was used to throwing parties at school. The set-up was easy enough: lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of games and activities, lots of space. There were some streamers and balloons up, mostly because Karla was trying to remind everyone (or, at least, herself) that this was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Really. It was. At least, that's what everyone kept telling her.

The important thing to keep in mind was that there would (probably) be no repeat of her last sixth floor party sadly. She had gone the safe an glitter-free route this time. Clad in her new pajamas, Karla waited for her guests to arrive.

"I got one of the letter's? Progress!" Lindsay snickered. "If you answer to that, I might end up calling you that the rest of the time I'm here."

"No, I suppose not," Lindsay agreed. "And hey, calling you Kim will just remind me of home a little."

"Just as long as you don't get me confused with your Kim," Ino teased. "'Cause I won't be no one but me, personality-wise."

"Oh believe me, there's no way I could confuse you both," Lindsay told her. "She's got a very...bold personality."

Bold. That was one way of describing it.

"What's she like? How's she bold?"

"She's loud and abrasive, and you wouldn't want to be on her bad side," Lindsay explained. "But if she's your friend, she'll be your biggest defender."

"She definitely is," Lindsay agreed. Chuckling, she added, "And don't think I'm not gonna try to find out your name. I took an investigations class."

"I can be scary." Though even Lindsay couldn't keep a straight face at that one.

Knowing the girl's name or not, Lindsay knew she could get along with her.
