Farewell Slumber Party, 6th Floor, Wednesday Night

By now, Karla was used to throwing parties at school. The set-up was easy enough: lots of food, lots of drinks, lots of games and activities, lots of space. There were some streamers and balloons up, mostly because Karla was trying to remind everyone (or, at least, herself) that this was supposed to be a happy occasion.

Really. It was. At least, that's what everyone kept telling her.

The important thing to keep in mind was that there would (probably) be no repeat of her last sixth floor party sadly. She had gone the safe an glitter-free route this time. Clad in her new pajamas, Karla waited for her guests to arrive.

[Yay for slumber parties. For girls only (and our honorary girl for the evening), up early for great SP justice. Please hold for OCD up!]

Sookie giggled. "I'm pretty sure if there's a Blow Job with a straw going on, you're doing it wrong," she admitted. "But I'm also not totally sure it's, well, accurate to deny use of your hands, either. Hmmm."

"...not from personal experience," she added, blushing almost purpose. "I just -- you know. See things. I only really learned to shield this past year!"

"Just checking!" Karla said, feigning innocence. "And, you know. Being really nosy. There's a lot that they teach young Black Widows about theory and whatnot behind sex, but nothing about technique."

"If I ever get any practical experience in that area," Sookie said, dropping her voice, "you'll be the first to know. Well. Second. Bobby's occasionally clueless, but I think he might notice."

Karla began laughing, covering her mouth with her hands so as not to draw anyone else's attention. "I'm sorry!" she said. "But I'm just picturing--well, not really picturing, exactly, but--there you are and then suddenly Bobby looks down and is all, 'Oh! Sookie, I didn't see you come in!' or something."

Sookie herself was so lost in giggles that she finally had to set down her baked goods just to cope. "What's sad is that I'm not sure it's too far off the mark," she laughed, once she had her breath back. "I mean, okay, he'd notice that -- I hope -- and I love him, but Bobby's not really known for noticing subtle feminine cues. I like to think he's improving, though. Hopefully."

"Well, he picked up on the 'I love you,' right?" Karla asked. "So he's not entirely hopeless." She grinned. "And he managed to pull off Project Spycicle, too, so there's hope yet for him."

"It took him a minute, but yeah," Sookie agreed fondly. "And he pulled that off without me even noticing! Granted, I was going out of my mind and we were fighting bad guys at the time, so his timing leaves something to be desired, but still!"

"Timing is a more advanced bit of progress," Karla said sympathetically. "Did I tell you that Warren and I are official now? I decided that the middle of the bar was the best place to have that discussion. I blame my second Screaming Orgasm."

"Really?" Dogs in the area probably should have objected to the pitch of Sookie's happy squeal, really. "Oh, Karla -- well, Bobby and I decided to be official when he was all jacked up on energy drinks, so I think your timing there's fine. I'm so happy for you, sweetheart!"
